3. Edit an Event Layout

Need to make changes to an existing layout? Eventful makes it easy to edit and update your layouts at any time.

Steps to Edit an Existing Event Layout #

1. Go to Eventful → All Layouts.
2. Locate the layout (shortcode) you want to edit.
3. Click on the Edit button.
4. Modify the layout by adjusting the available settings in the Layout Generator tabs.
5. Click the Update button to save your changes.
6. Reload the page, post, or widget where the shortcode is placed to see the updated layout live.

💡 Tip: You can experiment with different layout presets, colors, and typography. Edits are applied instantly once you update and refresh the page.
