How to Translate Eventful Pro Using Poedit #
- Download Poedit: Poedit is a popular app for translating
.po
and.pot
files. It’s available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

- Open Poedit.
- Load the default translation file: /wp-content/plugins/eventful-pro/languages/eventful-pro.pot
- Translate the strings into your target language.
- Save your translation. Poedit will generate two files:
.po
→ your editable translation file.mo
→ the compiled file used by WordPress
- Name Your Files Properly: WordPress identifies localization files by their file names. The correct format is:
plugin-slug-language_COUNTRY.po
plugin-slug-language_COUNTRY.mo

- German (Germany):

- French (France):
