Add a filter bar above any Eventful widget, so visitors can narrow the events without a page reload.<\/p>\n\n

Filters work on all 9 widgets. Button filters are in the free version; dropdown, radio and checkbox filters need Eventful Pro.<\/p>\n\n

Add a filter<\/h2>\n\n
  1. Open Content > Filter Events<\/strong> and scroll to Advanced Filtering<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. Turn on Enable Advanced Filtering<\/strong>. A first filter row appears under Filter Options<\/strong>.<\/li>
  3. Open the row and choose what to filter by in Select Option<\/strong>.\n

  4. Optional: limit the choices. For example, in Choose Category(s)<\/strong> pick three categories. Leave it empty to offer all of them.<\/li>
  5. Keep Show Ajax Live Filter<\/strong> on, so the filter appears above the events.<\/li>
  6. Choose a Filter Type<\/strong>: Button, or Dropdown, Radio or Checkbox (Pro).<\/li>
  7. Set the Label<\/strong> and, if you like, Rename “All” Text<\/strong> (for example “All venues”).<\/li>
  8. Turn on Show Event Count<\/strong> to show the number of events next to each option, and Hide Empty Option(s)<\/strong> to leave out options with no events.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n

    Click Add Item<\/strong> under the rows to add another filter, for example a category filter next to a month filter.<\/p>\n\n
