2. Managing Your License

How many sites your license covers, and how to move, renew or upgrade it.

Which sites count toward the limit #

Your plan sets how many live sites you can activate: 1 site on Single Site, up to 5 on Five Sites, and no limit on Unlimited Sites. All plans include every Pro feature. A site stops counting when you deactivate the key on it.

  • Local, staging and development sites do not count. You can use the plugin there before you activate it on your live site. This covers addresses such as localhost, private IP ranges (10.x, 172.16.x to 172.31.x, 192.168.x), *.dev, *.test and staging.*.
  • Multisite: a Single Site license covers the main site and its sub-sites in the same WordPress installation.
  • Separate installations: a subdomain with its own WordPress installation, such as shop.example.com, needs its own site on your license. One Single Site license cannot be used on several separate installations, even on the same domain.
  • More sites: to use the plugin on another live site, upgrade your license or buy another plan.

Move a license to another site #

  1. On the old site, go to Eventful For Elementor > License and click Deactivate.
  2. On the new site, install Eventful Pro, go to the same page, paste the key and click Activate.

Renew a yearly plan #

A yearly plan includes 1 year of updates and support. Lifetime plans never need renewing. If a yearly license expires, the plugin keeps working, but you no longer get updates (including security fixes) or support.

  1. Log in to your ThemeAtelier account and go to Dashboard > My Subscriptions.
  2. Find the license with the status Expired and click Renew.
  3. At checkout, enter your license key under Renew an existing license?, apply it and complete the payment.
  4. The license shows Active again, and updates and support start again.

You can also click Renew license key at discount on the plugin’s License page when the key has expired. It opens checkout with your key filled in.

Upgrade to more sites #

You can move to a plan with more sites at any time. You only pay the difference in price.

  1. Log in to your ThemeAtelier account with the email you used to buy.
  2. Go to My Account > Dashboard and open the License Keys tab.
  3. Find your active license and click View Upgrades.
  4. Choose the plan you want and click Upgrade License.
  5. Complete checkout. The price difference is applied for you.

When the upgrade is done, you can activate the license on the new number of sites straight away. Compare the plans on the pricing page.
